Discovery School, located in the beautiful lake community of Heath, Texas, was established in 2012 as a natural extension of the First Baptist Church of Heath Children’s Ministry. The school currently accepts children from preschool through kindergarten in a variety of full-time, part-time, and extended day schedules. The program was established for FBC Heath by Executive Director Norma Morris, the founder of area Montessori schools since 1978.

Discovery School of FBC Heath is affiliated with the International Christian Montessori Institute (ICMI: www.InternationalCMI.com), where Ms. Morris serves as the Director of Teacher Training and Development and the International Montessori Council (IMC) where Norma has served as a School Accreditation Commissioner.
